Known as Queen of the Night, Silvetty Milla, 57, had to stop the concert schedule temporarily due to health problems and asked for help from friends and fans to pay the bills.
Drag Queen, known for nightclub shows and plays for 37 years, has undergone angioplasty to unclog coronary arteries and is in the public health line to perform a kidney transplant.
To help the artist, a group of friends organized a charity show scheduled for the 20th, at 20h, at Blue Space, a nightclub located in Barra Funda, São Paulo.
The show will be presented by Nany People and will feature the appearances of singers Wanessa Camargo and Vanessa Jackson, singer Ricky Vallen, actress Grace Gianoukas, dancer and singer Rita Cadillac and drags like Alexia Twister, Divine Nubia and Sissi Girl.
“I am very happy and grateful,” said the artist on a live on Instagram.
Silvetty is also known for participation in programs such as “Toma Dá Dá” and “Foot Na Cova” (Globo), the performances in the project “Tuesday Insane”, at the theater, and at the Gay Parade of São Paulo.
The drag, which began its artistic career by voicing Zezé Motta, became famous for the slogans, popularized in the LGBTQIA+scene, such as “Tá Boa”, “Tô Beautiful” and “Táá Greatoo”.
