The singer Netinho de Paula, 54, used social networks on Wednesday (26) to reassure fans about the violence he suffered the night before. He said he was assaulted during a robbery on the Immigrant Highway, between the cities of Cubatão and Sao Paulo. “I mean everything is fine, that the worst has passed. They have taken a cell phone, but I’m alive,” said the presenter in a video.
Netinho continued to detail the episode: “I had my car closed by another vehicle. They descended some bad guys (I couldn’t say how many men they were) and I was assaulted with a punch in the eye,” lamented the former junior business singer. “The worst is that they were very nervous and with the weapons in their hands.”
The singer even showed the injury on his face and commented: “Something worse could have happened. Today I was not supposed to be right here, but the boy was young, nervous … ended up punching me, who took the eye,” said Netinho. “They took a cell phone, but I’m alive. Thank God, everything worked out. What matters is being alive,” he said.
Former alderman elected by Sao Paulo (2008 and 2012) he said that he can already know the location of the phone by the tracker: “You are giving to see the house and the place where it is in Cubatão. So I think the guys (the police) can find the phone. It’s all right.”
