BBB 25: Speaks of Diego Hypolito about anxiety crisis is cut by reality production

Globo has cut the broadcast of a conversation between Diego Hypolito, Thamiris and Vitória Strada on BBB 25 about an anxiety crisis of the former gap in the early hours of Friday (28). The three exchanged experiments on mental health, but the camera was cut when the brother began to talk about a situation in Fausto Silva’s former program on the station.

On the eve of the Rio Olympics, in 2016, Diego had a marked participation in Domingão do Faustão. Shortly before entering live, the former little girl canceled his entry and did not go live on that day’s show.

In the reality show, he recalled the episode and said that everything had happened after his coach, Fernando de Carvalho Lopes, was removed from office for allegations of sexual abuse. The men’s gymnastics team had just hired a new coach, Marcos Goto (who would later be investigated by CGB for ethical misconduct).

He told Sisters that behind the scenes of Domingão, he received a call from his team, but the broadcast was cut before he could reveal what he heard and what happened after the call.

At the time, Faustão said in the program that Diego had received a call and had been threatened with being cut from Rio 2016’s artistic gymnastics team if he went into the air. The production also said that the gymnast was ill and had to be attended by firefighters and the medical team of Rede Globo.

The Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB) manifested: “It was a decision of the athlete’s coach in the Brazilian team of the Brazilian Gymnastics Confederation, Marcos Goto, with the intention of avoiding the focus on the eve of the Olympic Games. It is noteworthy that the athlete did not ask his coach to participate in the program.”

Two months later, already Olympic medalist, Diego returned to Domingão for the famous dance and confirmed that he had been threatened not to participate in the Olympics. “I really couldn’t get on the show, and I didn’t get it on because I could be out of the Olympics and that’s worth more than anything,” he said.
