Actors Humberto Carrão, Olivia Torres and Guilherme Silveira, from the cast of “I’m still here,” shouted, vibrated and were very moved when the feature was announced as the winner in the Oscar’s best foreign film category. They follow the celebration in a big screen at the Tropical Folia Cabin in Marques de Sapucaí.

The three were thrilled and hugged. In the end, alongside the audience, they celebrated to the sound of the song “Brazil! Show Your Face”, by Cazuza. It was around 11:15 pm when the three and the space audiences stopped accompanying the samba schools parades and gathered in front of the big screen to accompany the award.

The category of best foreign film would still take more than half an hour to be broadcast. But they didn’t round up there.

“I’m very nervous,” said Guilherme, who promised to take the stage and sing and play for everyone if he won. During the wait, the mood was of joy, tension and emotion.

When the movie “Emilia Pérez” was announced as a previous category candidate, the actors and the audience came. The French feature was the main competitor of the Brazilian.
