Amid a phase full of controversy, Rafael Cardoso revealed in an interview with Roberto Cabrini on Sunday’s Spectacular Sunday (2) that he is dealing with alcohol and drug addiction.
In the last two years, the actor has received a protective measure that prevents him from approaching his ex-wife, Mariana Bridi, lost contact with her children, was accused of assaulting her mother, Sônia Bridi and to hit an elderly in a bar fight.
In the interview, he said that problematic actions were motivated by addiction. “I am not healed and if I make mistakes again, I will not have another opportunity,” he said. On his social networks, the actor also made an outburst.
“I opened my heart talking about my incurable disease. There is no cure for addiction and compulsivity. It is one day after the other. One day compulsivity will be in food, training, study, another, study,” he said. “It’s one day after the other, controlling the triggers, overcoming the fears and building a new gift.”
Rafael Cardoso has been out of Globo since 2023, when his contract was closed earlier during a participation in the soap opera “Terra e Passion”.
