Ingrid Guimarães reported in social social social situation that he went through a flight from the American Airlines company on the night of last Friday (7).
In a post on the X (former Twitter) and an Instagram video, she said she boarded the premium economy class to make the New York-Rio route when, according to her, an airline employee went to her seat and said she would have to leave the scene because a person broke one of the business class seats.
“He said ‘this is a rule, you were chosen.’ And I said, ‘No, I won’t. I bought this place and I will stay here.’ And he answered ‘you have to go,'” he said.
In a note sent to F5American Airlines said the company’s goal is to provide a positive and safe trip to passengers. “A member of our team is contacting the customer to understand more about your experience and resolve the issue.”
The actress stated that a second employee was called and that this person would have arrived already talking loudly and said that if she did not leave, she could never travel around the company. Then a third person was called and, in Portuguese, would have told her that if the change was not made, the plane could not take off.
“I even had a single Brazilian commissioner on the team that came and said, ‘honey, let me tell you something, you will come down for good or bad.’ At that moment, my brother -in -law and my sister, who were in the side, went to try to help, because they speak English better than mine, and one of the women had my brother -in -law silence, saying that he did not ask him to get in.”
In the video, Ingrid said he continued to refuse to leave the place and that, in view of this, an announcement was made to the flight that the plane would not leave because a passenger did not collaborate, and would have pointed to his seat.
“That is, they put me against the entire flight to coerce with my place. In the face of this public embarrassment, I left my place and went to one that was not my place.”
Then she said she received a $ 300 voucher. “I lived an abusive, violent, unfair situation and I was coerced in front of the entire flight to do what American Airlines wanted.”
In the report, Ingrid said he brought to light for Brazilians to be better treated in airlines.
“In the middle of the flight I went to talk to the Brazilian commissioner and ask what the criterion was. He said they were usually several, but one of them was the cheapest fare or the woman traveling alone. My reserve was a woman alone. A woman acting alone, who doesn’t have a man next to scream, to impose herself.”
