Stathis and Takis were confronted during Monday’s immunity match.
There the two Survivor players clashed with each other possibly by mistake, however Stathis considered that his opponent did it deliberately to delay him. The reaction of the Red player was unacceptable. He took the ball of the target and threw it with force on Takis. The game was stopped without a second thought and Giorgos Lianos warned the players with severe penalties in case something similar happens. After the tones dropped, the fight continued from where it left off.
After the match, when Giorgos Lianos asked Takis about the incident, he launched an attack against Stathis, saying that he did not even apologize for this violent attack. The Reds, however, had heard Stathis apologize and Takis accept it, and hurried to put the Blues player in his place.
The issue naturally reached the Council of the Island. There in a generalized quarrel, which contained other issues in which the Blues mercenary has been involved, his teammate, Aris Soiledis, dismissed him and was said to disagree.
Lianos stopped the conversation in order for the Reds to proceed with the voting process. Previously, however, he gave a clear ultimatum to everyone that such incidents of violence will not be tolerated in the future, as they are not in line with the philosophy of the game.
