Rachel Zeglerimpressed with her interpretation in ‘West Side Story’by Steven Spielberg, and is expected to shine in the upcoming live-action transfer of “Snow White”, is preparing to conquer the London theater scene.

The rising star will make her West End debut with the iconic role of Eva Peron, in a new production of legendary musicals by Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Weber, “Evita”. The revelation was made by the director of the show, Jamie Lloyd, in “Deadline”.

The ambitious production will rise to the historic London Palladium for a 12 -week limited summer season, with performances starting on June 14 and ending on September 6th.

During an interview with Deadline from New York, where he meets with actors for other key roles, the excited Lloyd described Zegler as an “excellent talent” who is sure to “amaze the London Palladium audience”.

As she revealed, she met with the actress in a secluded cafe in Manhattan and said that from the first moment she felt the need to choose her for the flagship role, as she was impressed by her “knowledge and thoughts” about Eve Douarte de Peron, as her 19th first name was 195.
