Monsueto, from Tchakabum, remembers relationship with Gracyanne Barbosa: ‘She was a girl of the interior’

Gracyanne Barbosa said she decided to enter BBB 25 to show “the different versions of herself” to her fans. During the program, facts such as his law training at UFRJ and his deprived past came to light. Monsueto Menezes, vocalist of Tchakabum, has some more to share.

He and his brother, Marcelo, met Gracyanne at the Radar Academy in Copacabana, where the three were working out. “She slept at the hostel and worked out in this gym. And she worked in a nightclub at night,” he says.

The group was forming and already had a dancer, who decided to leave the endeavor. The brothers, when they see Gracyanne at the gym, called her to participate in Tchakabum. “Wow, but I don’t even know how to dance,” she said at the time. But it bumped into it.

“She already had a body that caught her attention. A defined abdomen, she had her butt reached. When she got on television, the people said, ‘Heck!'” He says.

Tchakabum was a success, especially after Kleber Bambam sang and danced “Wave” on BBB 2. Over time, the singer and the dancer approached, as friends, and ended up having a love relationship. Nothing very serious, according to him. “We just stayed. Never dated.”

Monsueto also says that he won Gracyanne because most men didn’t know how to treat her: “She was a girl in the countryside. Scared. The guys just wanted to catch, thinking she was a woman used to leaving. And no, she was a girl of the interior.” “She was running away,” he added.

The relationship lasted about three years and ended when she still danced with the group. “It was quiet, because we didn’t have this love, like, unconditional for each other. We were a friend who was together,” he says. A few years later, she met Belo, with whom she dated for 16 years.

He ends with a last story about the fitness muse, always addicted to eggs. It happened when the group was plane for the first time. “She liked to diet, didn’t eat anything else. Then everyone on the plane, what did she do? Open an egg jar inside the closed plane, imagine?” He says, laughing.

“It had an egg smelling on the plane … I think it was the egg she had already saved early. When she opened, people were complaining to the commissioner, who could do nothing. Egg stench … This day was everyone laughing inside the plane with the smell of boiled egg.”
