Giovanna Antonelli has always believed in the success of “Fatal Beauty” (Max), so much so that he accepted the invitation to be one of his protagonists. But she does not hide that she was surprised by how much the soap opera went viral. “It reinforces my love for telling stories that hold the audience,” says the interpreter of Elvira, a character who uses her supposed clairvoyance to predict the future of others.
The plot of author Raphael Montes makes available this Friday (21) its 40th and last chapter. Elvira’s chemistry, with Lino, her husband, played by Augusto Madeira, has also gained the affection of the fans. “This work is another challenge that instigated me,” she comments, about to celebrate 35 years of her first public appearance on TV in 1991 as an Angelica stage assistant at Clube da Criança, on the extinct TV Manchete.
In chat with the F5the actress talks about the approach of 50 years (she did 49 on March 18), her career as an entrepreneur, the courses she minister and how her life outside the Globo has been, a broadcaster where she stayed for 23 years. “I am free to create my own opportunities and invest in what really makes sense to me,” he says. Success in ‘Fatal Beauty’ – “A joy to see the soap opera break records and win the audience so intensely. This viralized was a delicious surprise. But we knew the incredible material we had in hand. This work is another challenge that instigated me and brought a new dynamic. It was an amazing experience that reinforces my love for telling stories that hold the public, added to an extraordinary team of professionals.”
ELVIRA CHARACTER VIDENCES – “I think this universe fascinating. I have never been to look for predictions about the future, but I really believe in energy, intuition and the power of thought. I always guide me in my decisions. For me, what we build in the present is what defines the future, so I prefer to focus on now and let life surprise me.”

35 years of TV – “I had several striking characters that became very popular and that connected me with the audience in a unique way. Each one brought challenges and I am grateful for everything they lived with me. I keep the stories with love, but always look forward. Life goes on, the cycles renew and I like to be present in the now.”
Entrepreneurship – “All that I build is based on my purposes, always looking for ways to enhance and impact more people. I have a digital platform for women, where more than 30,000 students have passed, with several mentors, the best professionals in their areas, boosting entrepreneurs to take their projects out of paper.”
Platform’s intention – “I do not take a course to ‘win in life’. Our platform is about personal and professional development. Today I unfold in other professions and, with a lot of discipline, I build new stories. Each step, even the challenging, brought valuable insights. The important thing is always to be aligned with what I believe, adjust the route when necessary and continue transforming”.
New projects – “My focus at the moment, besides the digital platform, is my talk [palestras] running Brazil and around the world. This year, besides Brazil, we go to the United States and Europe. This is a transforming project, also dedicated to entrepreneurial women. I debut the movie ‘Rio de Blood’ in 2025 and I follow, playing my business and launching products in the online market. My dream is to be healthy to enjoy my achievements, my family, friends and life more and more. “
Approximation of 50 years – “Aging is just moving on with history to tell and build. I take care of the way that makes sense to me. Time passes to everyone, just aging who doesn’t die early, right? And the difference is how we choose to live.”
Life outside the globe after 23 years – Today, I follow my trajectory independently, without bonding with any company or fixed contract. This gives me complete freedom to choose where I want to be, create my own opportunities and invest in what really makes sense to me. “
