Andressa Urach announced that she is looking for a party to run for federal deputy in the city of São Paulo. In a video published on social networks on Thursday (3), the former model asked for suggestions from acronyms who are aligned with their values and stressed that they do not want to join neither right nor left.
“To my followers and the people who like me and agree with the things I believe, I would like you to refer me parties that think I should be part. I will have meetings with some acronyms, but I want something in the center or center-left, because I identify more with these ideas,” he said.
The adult content producer had already expressed interest in policy in previous posts. Last Tuesday (1), Andressa revealed that her candidacy would only be the first step towards an even greater goal: to run for the presidency of Brazil in the future.
In the video, she also pointed out that she seeks a party where she can “really work” and is not involved in so many cases of corruption. “We know we can’t put your hand on fire for anyone, but I want the opinion of those who understand politics and can give me that information,” he said.
The reaction of the public was immediate. In the comments, followers demonstrated support for the initiative. “I will transfer my title just to vote for you,” wrote Paula Aryane. Another fan stressed that his choice will be based on the candidate, regardless of the acronym: “Vote for you, not the party. So you can apply for anyone,” said Carlos Martins.
