Mickey Rourke becomes a Big British villain after homophobic and misogynous lines

In just four days inside Celebrity Big Brother’s house – British version of reality composed only by participants in the group “Camarote” – actor Mickey Rourke, 72, has already become the great villain of the edition. The heartthrob of the 1980s revolted the public with homophobic and misogynous lines, and his expulsion from the program gained strength on social networks.

Rourke was also harshly criticized by his confinement colleagues for negative comments, especially aimed at women. In one of the most talked about episodes, he told former child star Jojo Siwa-admittedly lesbian-that he could “make her straight” during the time on reality. Jojo responded firmly, “I can guarantee that I will still be gay and still be in a very happy relationship.” After the conversation, Rourke commented to other participants: “I will vote for Lesbica quickly.”

Jojo warned him about the homophobic speech content, and other participants also instructed him about the program rules. The actor just answered by saying that he needed a cigarette. He was then called to the confessional, where he received a warning from the producers, who recalled the reality rules and the possible punishments in the face of offensive behaviors.

After the episode, Rourke apologized: “I apologize. I have no bad intentions – I’m just talking bullshit, you know? I wasn’t taking everything so seriously. I had no bad intentions and if I had, I apologize.” However, he once again caused discomfort with other participants.

Seeing actress Donna Preston wearing an aesthetic care LED mask, she questioned the usefulness of the accessory. When stating that it was to “take care of the wrinkles of the neck,” he said, “I still can’t see the results.” Then he suggested, “You may simply run around the block for 10 minutes.”

The actor of films such as “9 1/2 weeks of love” (1986), “Sin City: The City of Sin” (2005) and “Sin City: The Fatal Lady” (2014) also criticized actress Patsy Palmer’s culinary skills. Rourke complained about meals and asked for “better” food, unknowingly-or pretending not to know-that the brothers and sisters themselves are responsible for the attraction meals, which premiered on Monday (7). The critic generated a malaise in the kitchen, and his colleagues came out in defense of the actress, praising her goodwill.
