In mid -1800, Emert Lee Dickinson introduced the US on April 15 as a national laundry day. Dickinson had invented the clothes basket with wheels and wherever he went, he urged others to participate in his crusade for “national cleanliness”.
Gradually, the day took the “international” sign (as everyone puts a washing machine) and humorously established April 15th was established as an international laundry day.
