With erased end, BBB 25 has the smallest search on Google in a decade

The latest edition of BBB 25 crowned Renata Saldanha as a prize winner on Tuesday (22), but also recorded the final with the worst audience in the history of the reality show. The low audience was also reflected in Google searches.

Google Trends data show that this was one of the least popular editions, with interest of searching for a level similar to that of 2015, in the period that includes the last ten years.

On social networks, BBB 25 was widely pointed out as the warmer edition of all time. Not even the cast was able to surprise the public, and the number of followers of the participants did not translate into enough popularity to ensure permanence in the game.

Eliminated in March, Aline Patriarch, for example, became the most successful anonymous of Globo’s reality show this year. Its high engagement in the networks has caught the attention of brands and already animates the commercial area of ​​influencers of the station. Despite the victory, Renata was not among the most sought after participants on Google when reality still completed her first month. The podium was dominated by the members of the cabin in this order: Gracyanne Barbosa, Vitória Strada and the brothers Diego and Daniele Hypolito. In a ranking that compared the search for all participants, Renata was only in the ninth position.

In the period that includes the last ten years, the most popular edition in search was 2021, which had Juliette as champion. She became one of the most successful winners after reality. Even before leaving the program, it already totaled 23 million followers on Instagram, a feat that no participant in the popcorn group has been able to repeat since.

Following is the 2020 edition as the second with the highest searches. This edition marked a turning point in the history of the program: it was the first to have the group Camarote, bringing together famous people who started to share space with the Popcorn group, formed by anonymous.

The strategy worked and was kept in the following editions. However, the presence of celebrities in the cast was gradually reduced. In BBB 25, the format became double in pairs, but even among the pairs of the box group, only five participants were, in fact, public figures.

In the previous edition, BBB 24, this number was slightly larger, with six famous.

Another popular search edition was 2022, which marked the debut of Tadeu Schmidt as host of the program, replacing Tiago Leifert. The edition was also marked by the antagonism between actor Arthur Aguiar and the influencer Jade Picon.

In BBB 25, searches did not show significant growth even in the vicinity of the final, a period that usually records the peak of interest to reality, traditionally occurred in mid -April.
