Giovanna Lancellotti tells how to divide between ‘owner of me’ and preparations for her wedding

After seven years away, Giovanna Lancellotti wanted to return to soap operas, but admits that Kamila, her character in “Dona de me,” exceeded expectations. “Said a big” yes, “she says, excitedly, about the invitation to the leaflet that debuted a week ago in the seven range of Globo.

In the plot, she gives life to a young and dreamy solo mother, who is one of the best friends of the protagonist Leona, played by Clara Moneke. “Ka is the reflection of many young people who get pregnant early, want to live, want to have fun, but need to be responsible to be able to take care of a child,” he explains.

Giovanna says that her character does not like the work in the quality control of the fictional manufacturer of underwear Boaz, one of the main scenarios of the novel. “She would love to work with image, so whenever she can, she tries to be a model of the factory lingerie,” he said.

However, she needs to put her child first and, during the plot, will have to deal with the reappearance of the child’s father. “She had a relationship with Ryan (L7Nnon) and got pregnant. They were in love, and Kamila felt abandoned and deceived when he was arrested,” he explains.

“Ryan was leaving the crime when he was arrested, and then there is this mismatch,” he continues. “It has been seven years, he comes back … and I can’t give more spoiler (laughs).”

Here comes the bride

If in fiction your character has not been so lucky in love, Giovanna’s reality could not be more different. The actress is about to marry the businessman and president of Liesa (independent league of the samba schools of Rio de Janeiro), Gabriel David. The ceremony is scheduled for the end of June in São Paulo.

“I talk to my ceremonialist at the intervals of the scenes,” she comments, who has found it good to go through the process while there are other things to occupy the mind. “For me, it is being very important to go through this process without neglecting my profession, my craft, who I am, the things I do,” he explains.

It also weighs the fact that it is, as much as possible, with the organization of the event. “I’m not that bride who is breathing marriage and living every second. I never had the dream of getting married since childhood, you know? This desire has come now, older,” he says.

Recently, the actress had her name involved in a confusion because of this year’s Rio Carnival results. It is that his father-in-law, Anísio Abraham David, is the president of Honor of Beija-Flor, who won the great Rio by a tenth difference. Many netizens criticized the title, and Giovanna exchanged barbs with several of them on social networks.

“Oh, guys. I couldn’t be quiet with the people in doubt of victory, disregarding the community that I have been part of five years,” he says. “I know these people beyond the court, of course they were going to argue. They took me seriously.”
