Tom Brady reveals regret for exposing his separation too much with Gisele Bündchen

Remembering one of the most difficult moments of his after-separation life, Tom Brady revealed that a miscalculated choice ended up hurting who he loves the most: his children.

During participation in the “Impaulsive” podcast, released last Tuesday (6), the former football player vented on the impact that “The Roast” (Netflix), released last year, had about Benjamin and Vivian, his children with model Gisele Bündchen. The couple announced the divorce in October 2022.

Brady explained that although he had fun on the night of the recording-where was jokes involving his separation and Gisele’s new relationship with Jiu-Jitsu coach Joaquim Valente, the feeling changed dramatically the next day.

“It was difficult for my children for sure,” he admitted. “You don’t know exactly what to expect. I love laughing at myself, it seemed like I was in the locker room, and the more people criticized me, the more I had fun. But for them it was another story.”

The former athlete reported that, despite the relaxed atmosphere of the program and his ability to deal with games, he realized too late the emotional weight that all causes in his children. “There are some things you, like a father, spoil and only realize later,” he acknowledged. “We are not perfect. There is no manual for it, and you need to be always evaluating.”

According to him, the conversation with Benjamin and Vivian after the special was one of the most painful moments he has ever lived. “I felt like a stake had crossed my heart. They are protectors – with the mother, the father, with everyone. And they asked me, ‘What was the meaning of that? Why did you do that?'” He said.

Despite recognizing the quality of the program, Brady stated that this experience left marks. “Even though I really enjoyed the presentation, it was crazy. I will never forget that conversation.”
