THE F5 He had access to a recording of the decision, which confirms that the journalist will have to pay $ 30,000 to the singer for moral damages. In addition, it also reaffirms the penalty of one year and four months imprisonment, already converted to an alternative measure.
Ludmilla’s victory came after an appeal presented by his legal team at the end of 2024. At the time, the STJ had initially acquitted the presenter, but the artist resorted. The case returned to the agenda this year and had the favorable outcome to the singer last Tuesday (13).

The court also concluded that there was no distortion or manipulation of the presenter’s speech, as he was alleged by the defense. According to the case file, the phrase was said clearly and no longer appeals for responsibility.
The singer’s defense talked to the F5 And he stated that the decision represents an important milestone in the fight against racism in Brazil. “It is an excellent reflection of the evolution we expect in our society, where attitudes like the presenter can no longer be tolerated or treated with condescension.”
