The return of the Athens-Epidaurus Festival to the Lycabettus Municipal Theater, after several years of absence, was welcomed by the Mayor of Athens Haris Doukas.

As part of the agreement with Technopolis, which has taken over theater management, the Festival has returned to the hill since May 28th for four performances, which are mainly aimed at a youth audience.

Lycabettus’ program includes four nights with 23 artists, forming a multi -faceted musical landscape. The return of the festival to the iconic theater aspires to revive unforgettable concert moments and inspire a younger audience, through contemporary musical expressions, from Electronica and Ambient, to Afro-Greek Hip-Hop and Avant-Garde Pop.

On May 28, the Greek Nu Jazz meets the African Diaspora on an explosive music night, curated by Mc Yinka. With him are Jerome Kalouta, Idra Kayne, Ladele, Urban Lynx (known as Mc Yinka and Mc Dash), Angelos Angelou and Andreas Polyzogopoulos, on a journey where Hip-Hop meets modern Afro-Greek creation.

On May 29th, Spiritualized, one of the most influential British bands in recent years, go on stage with their timeless, psychedelic sound.

On May 31, Arca, one of the most radical figures in the international electronic scene, appears for the first time in Greece. Opening act Evita Manzi.

On June 1, Nalyssa Green invites her girlfriends and friends to a festive night, full of her own songs and her guests.
