EBU’s reprimand to RTVE’s Spanish commentators who broadcast Eurovision in Spain probably opened Aeolos’ bag. The Kapoutzidis -Kozakos of the country commented on the appearance of Israel while in Gaza there is bloodshed and this has “annoyed” the body.
We are not experts on the EBU regulations, but this year’s rule has banned national symbols only on the stage of the competition, we do not imagine that it predicted censorship in the national commentary of countries that convey the climate of the competition to their language to their fellow citizens.
