Victoria Beckham made a rare and honest confession about her role as a mother during an interview with the series “Reviewed By Osa” on YouTube, while in Dubai to promote her Capsule collection for Oouss. Her emotional statements came a few days after her husband’s 50th birthday, David Beckham – an important occasion from which their eldest son, Brooklyn, and his wife, Nikola Pelj, were absent.

‘I would like to believe that I am a good mom, a good husband. I try to be the best version of myself ‘, said Victoria. The mother of four also talked about her personal values, declaring: “I work hard. I would like to believe that I am a kind person. I’m very positive. I like good energy … I accept my imperfections. I just want to be my best self to be the best mom, the best husband, the best professional“

She also admitted that she has doubts about herself, but she sees them as something healthy: ‘I have insecurities, but I don’t let them pay me. I think an element of them is good, because otherwise you can easily become too arrogant. I am quite humble“

The interview came amid reports of rejuvenating tension in the Beckham family. Brooklyn and Nikola’s absence from David’s birthday has reinstated rumors of rupture, with sources blaming Nikola of removing Brooklyn from his family. The friction allegedly started with the couple’s wedding in 2022, when Nikola chose not to wear Victoria’s wedding dress – something that both sides initially denied.

More recently, Brooklyn was in London for photography with Moncler, a short distance from where David was watching the Chelsea Flower Show. Despite the proximity of space, father and son did not meet, with Brooklyn choosing to stay in a hotel with Nikola and not in the Holland Park family home.

Within this tense climate, Victoria seems to have spread an olive branch, uploading a photo of her four children to Instagram – including Brooklyn – with her parents, writing: “We love you all very much!David also referred to Brooklyn in a post on mother’s day in the US, sharing a tender black and white photo of Victoria with their children.

Victoria also revealed that she is working on a new Netflix documentary, which will focus on fashion and business career, following the success of David’s series on the same platform. ‘It was like a cure. I have realized things about myself that I didn’t know before. I am very vulnerable and that is hard for me as control freak“

Despite the difficulties, Beckham seems to seek to reconnect with Brooklyn, trying to maintain the unity of the family – even at a distance.
