Halkidiki is still the studio of “where there is Greece” and today, Thursday, May 22 at 14.45. Elabia Revi and George Kourdis, from the beautiful Halkidiki, present interesting reports, speak with locals and share moving human stories.

The beautiful island of Ammouliani, inhabited by descendants of Asia Minor refugees, welcomes us with love and reveals us beautiful and difficult aspects of their lives. A boat is the school of the island’s Gymnasium and High School students who wake up at noon to go to their school in Ierissos. When it has bad weather, the itineraries are not done and the children lose their lessons. Difficult conditions for elementary school students too … A retired doctor in Ammouliani is her guardian – her angel for over thirty years. We are excited to tell us how difficult the incidents can be and how much the place needs a permanent doctor. Both the president of the place and the pharmacist calls on behalf of the residents.

“Isn’t it like Halkidiki …” empty slogan or truth? Magic beaches, mountain and sea and extreme sports in the crystal clear waters that attract every traveler.

At the bottom of Halkidiki, volunteers of the Greek Eco Project environmental team do … good fish whenever they dive to cleanse what man pollutes. We know the Blue Chalkidiki program with them and they talk to us with frustration about the findings in our seas.
