Influencer who claims to have been with Neymar is arrested suspected of integrating millionaire scheme

Nayara Macedo, better known by the stage name of Any Awuada and being involved in a controversy with Neymar, was arrested in the city of Mogi das Cruzes, interior of São Paulo.

The arrest is part of an operation that investigates a falsification and marketing scheme of adulterated cosmetics. The information was determined by the F5.

According to the São Paulo Public Security Bureau (SSP-SP), Nayara and two other women were temporarily detained last Wednesday (21), in the cities of Mogi das Cruzes and Biritiba-Mirim. The action came after a complaint filed in August 2023, when a client reported having paid $ 857.90 for imported perfumes that, when analyzed, were confirmed as counterfeit.

Expertise identified substances such as ethanol and methanol in irregular concentrations, as well as the absence of any record of the products with Anvisa. The investigations also pointed to suspicious financial movements: one of the investigated would have moved more than $ 1.2 million, while two others totaled $ 600,000 and $ 300,000 in their bank accounts.

During the operation, civil police seized a series of known luxury cosmetics and a car, Audi Q3 model, valued at about $ 150,000. The arrest and search warrants were served by teams of the 31st Police District (Vila Carrão), with the support of other police stations in the state capital. The inquiry is still in progress to determine the total reach of criminal activities.

Nayara Macedo’s legal team sent an official note to F5stating that it has recently assumed the case and that the temporary arrest is exclusively investigative:

The 30 -day temporary arrest of Mrs. Nayara took place yesterday, only for police investigation purposes. Our team is taking full knowledge of the case to, from this, adopt all appropriate measures to their defense and guarantee full respect for their rights.

We reiterate our commitment to legality, due process of law and broad defense. “

The influencer gained national notoriety in 2023, after claiming had an intimate involvement with Neymar during a private party in Araçoiaba da Serra (SP). At the time, the presence of the player’s helicopter at the site reinforced rumors about his participation in the meeting – something that was denied by his advisory, which said the aircraft had been loaned to friends.
