Are you frustrated by the signs left by sunglasses in your makeup? Don’t worry, the solution may already be in your accessory. See what a professional makeup artist suggests to avoid annoying “dents” at your base.

Why do they leave sunglasses?

We have all done it: you enjoy the sun wearing your favorite glasses and when you take them out … Two red marks are revealed to your nose or spoil the foundation on the sides. And without a way to “correct” them easily (except waiting to disappear on their own), they end up annoying you.

Glasses, whether sunglasses or vision, leave marks mainly on the nose due to the pressure of the pillows (nose pads). If they are too tight or hard, they push the skin and cause redness or irritation – and of course, alter your makeup.

“There is nothing more irritating than the signs left by sunglasses on the sides of the nose,” says Mel Trierweiler, a makeup artist for Revolution Beauty. “But the solution may already be in your accessory.”

How to avoid signs of sunglasses

The solution? Baking powder, or otherwise setting powder.

“To prevent the signs of sunglasses, just apply a little transparent loose powder on the nose bridge and inside your glasses,” Mel explains. “The powder creates a barrier, absorbs unnecessary oiliness and prevents the transfer of makeup.”

The makeup artist also explains that the powder can spread directly on the glasses frame and on your nose, after first cleaning your glasses in the morning. “It is very important to clean the glasses everyday, because the residues of grease break up makeup and cause signs.”

And for even greater stability, Mel suggests:

“Spray your Beauty Blender with Setting Spray before dipping on the loose powder, this will offer extra hold and longer. It immediately locks the makeup in place and leaves the matte skin and flawless. “

And if you are out of the house?

Mel suggests having a powder with a beauty blender or powder puff. “Retry makeup becomes a toy without even touching your face with your own hands.” That was! A simple trick, Zero Effort and… Goodbye signs!
