Mia Goth is confirmed in a new ‘Star Wars’ movie with Ryan Gosling

British actress Mia Goth, 31, granddaughter of Brazilian actress Maria Gladys, was confirmed in the cast of “Star Wars: Starfighter”. According to Variety magazine, she joins the production that had already announced Ryan Gosling as part of the cast. The name of Mia’s character is still kept confidential.

The direction of the feature film will be in charge of Shawn Levy, the same as “Deadpool & Wolverine” (2024). The film will be an independent production within the Star Wars universe, focusing on new characters and stories. The plot will take place about five years after the events of “Star Wars: Episode IX – The Skywalker Ascension”, which ended the Skywalker saga and is so far the last franchise movie.

Filming is scheduled to start at the end of 2025, and the premiere is already scheduled: May 28, 2027.
