The old dictation of the bonanza that comes after the storm seems to fit perfectly into the love life of presenter Ana Hickmann, 44. After a complicated divorce with the right to denounce domestic violence, she now claims to have found the true and deepest love.

The relationship in love is with cook Edu Guedes, 51. The two will get married soon and she has been choosing every detail of the ceremony and the party that will soon make the union official. For this, they reform a centenary farm in Araras, in the interior of São Paulo.

“It will be a big party, for sure, but we have no date or exact number of guests yet. We have already set the buffet, the drink bar, the decoration, who will make our costumes and the place. We are restoring the space. It will be an unforgettable day,” says Ana.

Ana and Edu have been officially together since March 2024, but the approach began shortly before: by the end of 2023, when the cook decided to provide his support to then -friendly friend at a very delicate moment.

The presenter, who was married for more than 25 years to businessman Alexandre Correa, accused her ex-husband of assault, and with him wags other judicial battles.

“I need to confess that never in my life I imagined marrying Edu. We were friends and our relationship has always involved a lot of respect and admiration. He never went through our head live a love after more than 20 years of friendship. We ended up in love and our relationship has changed.”

This Valentine’s Day is, therefore, the second celebrated by the couple. “No doubt, I’m living the happiest and most passionate moment of my life. I feel complete, now I live with a person who respects me, loves me as I am, encourages me, puts me up and made me understand that it is possible to have a healthy relationship, with a lot of partnership and complicity,” he says.

She says they both have a lot in common, similar tastes, which makes the relationship even lighter and special. “We love to travel, enjoy life in the countryside. We always prioritize family moments and love to cook. We are very companions.”

The two already have children of previous marriages, and increasing the family is part of the plans – but without pressure. Whatever has to be, will be. And it will be very welcome.

“We would be very happy if it happened, but we are leaving in God’s hands. I have the Alezinho and Edu has Maria, and our family is already complete,” says Ana, who reinforces that, over time, Edu becomes more Alezinho’s partner. “Living together, we are creating family ties.”

Parallel to love, Ana Hickmann sees her life trajectory to inspire more and more women who, like her, report cases of violence at home. She says the messages she receives daily, whether on the streets or social networks, are fuel to continue talking about something so painful and worrying.

“When I shared my story, I couldn’t imagine how much this could impact on other people’s lives. I use my voice and my space to welcome these women and also warn about this horrible theme. Unfortunately, we are still very judged, but I won’t stop. I was invited to be a Maria da Penha Institute and I take it very seriously.
