Chris Brown declares himself innocent of prosecution of assault on the United Kingdom

American singer Chris Brown stated innocent on Friday (20) to attack a bottle producer with a bottle in a London nightclub two years ago.

Brown is accused of trying to inflict serious bodily injuries on what prosecutors said he was an “unlocked attack” with a bottle of Tequila to Abraham Diaw in a 2023 London nightclub.

The 36 -year -old man appeared to the Southwark Crown Court in London, where supporters filled the public gallery before the hearing.

Brown spoke only to confirm his name and date of birth and to deny the accusation of attempting to inflict serious bodily injury, telling the court’s clerk: “Innocent, lady.”

His corridor, Omolololu Akinlolu, 38, also stated innocent of the accusation of attempting to inflict severe bodily injury.

The pair received bail until the next hearing on July 11, when it may be asked to declare themselves to blame for a less serious accusation of aggression with body damage.

Brown was also accused of illegal gun possession, a bottle, but was not asked to declare himself guilty on Friday.

The trial is scheduled to begin on October 26, 2026.

The supporters said “We loved you, Chris” while Brown left the defendants after the brief hearing.

Brown, winner of two Grammy awards and known for hits such as “Loyal”, “Run It” and “Under the Influence”, had his bail granted in May after promising a security rate of £ 5 million to start his Breezy Bowl XX tour.

The R&B star was arrested at a hotel in Manchester, northern England last month after returning to Britain for the first time since the incident two years ago.
