by

Humorist Márvio Lúcio, better known as Carioca, surprised his followers by telling that he closely follows the content that his 16 -year -old son Nicolas receives at school. He reported that he banned the boy from reading some books nominated by the teachers who, according to the artist, are “indoctrinators.”

Without mentioning what the publications would be inadequate, the former Panic member said he is on the nominations. “There are books that I don’t authorize at school. This is not going, okay? NO. I’m paying, and that won’t. And my son gets up and leaves the room when class starts on these issues,” he said. “The director came to ask me: ‘You are doing something very serious for your child!’ I said, ‘I am teaching what you don’t know how to teach.’

Carioca, who worked as a commentator of A Fazenda, Record, also said that the mother of one of the school children praised her attitude. “She called, ‘Wow, how amazing what you are doing in this class!’. And I said, ‘Do the same for your son.’ And I said, ‘Being forced to me doesn’t mean much, no. Don’t you want to do your part?

Carioca and the content creator Paola Machado are parents of two children and his interview generated controversy in the networks. “He is not teaching to have courage, he is teaching disrespect,” commented a netizen. “The typical phrase ‘I’m paying’ already says a lot about the character and character of the person. We live in dark times,” wrote another. A third has added, “He is afraid that his son learn to think.”

Some followers, however, defended it. “Carioca is not wrong, and parents need to follow their children’s school content,” said one Instagram user and another wrote. “He’s very right.”
