Paros hosts “Where there is Greece” today, Thursday, July 3 at 14.45. Elambia Revi and George Kourdis set up their studio, come out live from Naoussa and invite us to get to know the beautiful Cycladic island and its people a little better.

Vassiliki Roussou, a model and businessman, guides us to the cosmopolitan and picturesque fishing village with cobblestone alleys and Cycladic architecture, and then surrounding her on the beach of Golden Coast.

In Naoussa, where the nets and boats once defined life, few fishermen who insist, as the boats now only play photos. We experienced the life of the fishermen, we collected the nets with them, but we found that some of them were “caught” in some of them … quite a few rubbish.

One of the most beautiful semi -mountainous villages of Paros is Lefkes, the first capital of the island. We walk in the picturesque alleys, we know hospitable people and we taste unique flavors.

Did you know that in Paros there is the most active trampoline section in the Aegean? The “Altis Paros” club has brought this Olympic sport closer to the islanders and especially to the children, who enjoy it and have won many awards.

Katerina Moschou, though she grew up in Athens, always had a dream of living in Paros and eventually succeeded. She opened her own dairy, showed us the whole process and talked to us about the challenges facing the primary sector against over -tourism.

The Paws Shelter is a modern ecological, fully licensed refuge, built with donations. Since 2023 it has been facing a problem in funding by the municipality due to bureaucratic procedures.
