Edu has cancer in the pancreas and underwent surgery last Saturday (5), at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, in São Paulo. The procedure was performed for the removal of nodules identified during a deeper medical investigation.
The discovery came after the chef and presenter has complications caused by a kidney infection. Edu began to feel bad recently and had to be in a hurry to treat the infection. “This is not the end, but a fresh start,” he said.
