We visit the underground tunnel of the Zoodochos Pigi Monastery, which leads us to a miraculous sanctuary at the level of sea level. We know the story of the fighter – symbol of Lemnos, Maroulas, who during the Greek Revolution destroyed the Ottomans. Her bronze statue stands imposing on the hill, once dominated by the Kotsina fortress. Our guide is a restless car, Odysseus Savouras, who with his music discovers ways to express his own truth about life.

Every cup and a story! The Aegean café is the Lemnos Parliament for the locals. It counts four generations of life and has countless stories of politics to tell through the people who created it and its patrons.

In Limnos we find a team that plays percussion of all kinds and does not exist in Greece. People of all ages, from 7 years to 60, have formed the team named Bartalia, raising the island with their rhythmic sounds.

In Ai Stratis we stroll through the ruins of the old settlement, where the signs of the deadly earthquake that hit the island 57 years ago remain indelible. It was one of the most powerful earthquakes that have occurred in Greece in modern times, magnitude 7.1 Richter.

On the small island of Ai Stratis, which is inextricably linked to the stone years of exile, more than 10,000 people have been exiled since the 20s and during the junta. We know separate people who record the memories of the exiled relatives and manage a unique photographic archive with the history of the island and its troubled periods.
