The 3rd International Symposium on a New Eleusis returns to the place of the famous Mysteries – where for over 15 centuries the idea of internal transformation and mystical knowledge has been cultivated for a three -day reflection, inspirational dialogue and visionary action. From 25 to 27 September 2025, the World Human Forum invites to the old Elefsina Olive Olive Oil Innovative speakers from a variety of fields creating a fermentation place for a modern narrative of unity, personal and social change.

Titled ‘Re -recalling the world’, This year’s Symposium turns its eyes on how we can restore our relationship with life, nature, others and ourselves to pave the way for a new eco-culture. A call to action to transform our daily experiences, from an anthropocentric worldview to a planetary consciousness, with choices that nourish instead of exhausting, links instead of isolate and honor instead of exploiting.

The Symposium is organized by the World Human Forum, with the support of the Attica Region and the 2023 Eleusis Capital of Culture of Europe and in collaboration with the Municipality of Elefsina and the Ephorate of Antiquities of West Attica.

The working language of the symposium is English. There will be a simultaneous translation into Greek.

Root and vision institution

The International Symposia for a New Eleusis They offer a unique platform for the exploration and redefinition of meeting points of ancient wisdom and modern meaning search, through cross -sectional approaches that bring science, art, archeology, spirituality and social innovation in dialogue. For three days the public has the opportunity to participate in a colorful reconnection narrative through experiential workshops, artistic activities and live discussions.

  • 26/9 | Old olive mill: Music performance Psychelectronica From the Superwave (Leonidas Danezos & Tasos Sotiriou)

  • 27 & 28/9 | Elefsina archaeological site: Representation Holy Trails, from the Mysteries of Eleusis to Byzantine Psalmism and the tradition of the Dervishes Mevlevs – The rotating Dervishes of Constantinople, the choir of the Constantinople Music Association in Athens, Socrates Sinopoulos and Michael Marmarinos compose a mystical experience in the iconic archaeological site.
