In an interview with the Mais Você program, he said he will focus on Preta Gil’s joyful legacy and 15 years of friendship. He also recalled the moment when he decided to drop his work in Salvador to accompany her during chemotherapy.
“When I saw the news in Salvador that she was sick, the following week, I went to visit her here in Rio. She was already doing chemotherapy. When I arrived, I came across the ex-husband’s situation not getting her during treatment, and said, ‘I will live with you.’
