Lindsay Lohan revealed that the desire for a quieter and more reserved life was what motivated her to leave Hollywood to live in Dubai. In an interview with the Live With Kelly and Mark program, the actress of “a crazy Friday,” said she was looking for more privacy and security to raise her son, Luai, 2, away from the spotlight and media pressure.
“It’s far away from Hollywood and I live a very normal life,” he said. “There is no concern that I can’t eat in this place because someone can take a picture of my son. ‘And that’s all, I feel very safe.”
She explained that paparazzi’s performance is considered illegal in the United Arab Emirates. “You can’t take a picture of someone in a restaurant, for example. You need to ask for permission,” he said.
The actress also said she felt the need to move away from the entertainment industry after years being persecuted by the sensational press, which often gave more prominence to her personal life than her career.
She moved to Dubai in 2014. Today, she is married to businessman Bader Shammas and avoids exposing her child on social networks.
Lindsay Lohan is back on the big screen with “a crazy Friday,” a continuation of “very crazy Friday”, 2003. The new movie is scheduled to open in Brazil for August 7.
