Isis Valverde opens his heart in “Conversation with Bial” this Friday (1), in a participation marked by personal memories, honors and reflections on family, literature and losses. The actress and writer launches her second book, “Red Red”, and takes advantage of the program to tell how writing intertwines to her trajectory.

Among childhood reports in Aiuruoca, interior of Minas Gerais, and the first steps in Rio de Janeiro in search of the artistic career, Isis also tells about moments that marked her. One of them involves his father, Rubens Valverde, who died of heart attack in January 2020 at the age of 65.

“Before he died, we were sitting outside the house, as we always did. He looked around, saw everything I had won and said, ‘Yeah, now I can leave. You’re okay, you don’t need me anymore.’

The relationship with literature also has family roots. Isis recalls coexistence with an uncle poet and the influence of the mother, who also writes. This affective heritage appears hard in “red red”, in which the actress claims to explore pain, love and rebirth, highlighting a poem dedicated to her 6 -year -old son.

About youth, Isis said that the desire to be an actress was not immediately understood by her parents, but she always felt support: “My father was not against. He just wanted me to have security. He was always by my side, cheering for me, even with fear.”
