Alexandre Pires revealed a generous gesture of Faustão during his participation in the Silvio Santos program with Patrícia Abravanel, aired on Sunday (3). The singer said he received $ 100,000 more for the show he did at the birthday party of Luciana Cardoso, wife of the presenter.
Invited to bring his show “Baile do Nêgo Véio” to the event, Alexandre performed about three and a half hours – common dwelling on his shows. Even so, Faustão played the presentation as if they were two shows and decided to pay twice the combined cachet.
“They deposited $ 100,000 more of our cachet. I went to try to return, but he didn’t accept it. He said he thought it was fair, because, for him, they had been two shows at Lu’s party,” said the artist.
Alexandre also revealed that he even considered singing for free at the time, but Faustão made a point of paying: “He said, ‘It’s his work and I want to pay.’ Besides, he still gave me a beautiful watch, one for me and one for my wife.”
Alongside João, son of Faustão, the singer took the opportunity to publicly thank the presenter and remembered the strength he had in the extinct Domingão do Faustão: “Whenever we went to the show, on Monday the phone kept playing. It was absurd, everyone looking for a show.”
