The famous comedian Eddie Murphy has no expectation for awards. However, the movie star “Beverly Hills Cop” and “Shrek” told Sky News in an interview that he would gladly receive an Oscar honor when he reached 90 years.

Speaking about his choices, he explained that awards recognition was never something that concerned him. “The response of the public and the fact that the film is last, this is the award,” the famous comedian continued.

“The films are timeless and special, so they have been played for years and have commercial success. So you make a lot of money and people love you, so you don’t even think “I didn’t win a prize!” He added.

Murphy has only received one Oscar nomination in his career. He was for his role in the film “Dreamgirls” in 2007, where they were considered a favorite. However, Alan Arkin finally won the best male role award for his performance in the film “Little Miss Sunshine”.

“Do you know what I have won over the years? One day, they will give me one of these Oscars. When I am very old. And I will say thank you very much for this wonderful price. I will be old and I will not have teeth. I don’t mind getting the Honorary Oscar when I am 90, “Murphy concluded.

Murphy, considered one of the greatest stars of American comedy, starred in the upcoming action comedy “The Pickup”, which follows two money -speaking drivers trapped in a robbery. At his side are Keke Palmer and Pete Davidson.
