Anna Windour is alleged to have appointed Cloe Maly as the new head of American Vogue content.

Vogue.com’s 39 -year -old author is expected to take on her new role in the giant fashion giant, with the announcement even on Tuesday, according to Puck’s Lauren Sherman.

Anna Windour, 75, revealed in June that she was leaving her role as the head of the fashion magazine.

At that time, Vogue had announced that she was looking for someone who would “lead the daily functions of the magazine on all platforms” and will refer directly to Windour.

However, the magazine had clarified that the fashion woman, who took over as editor-in-chief in 1988, will continue to work as a Condé Nast’s Chief Content Officer and Vogue’s Global Editorial Director.

“Anyone who works in a creative field knows how important it is to never stop going to work,” Anna Windour told her staff at a meeting when the announcement was made, according to Vogue.

“When I took over Vogue’s editor -in -chief, I was eager to prove to those who wanted to hear that there was a young, fascinating way to imagine an American fashion magazine.”

Windour explained that her “greatest joy” was “helping the new generation of passionate editors invade the space with their own ideas, supported by a new, fascinating conception of what a great media organization might be.”
