Rodrigo Mussi’s brother, 36, Diogo has been responsible for passing on updates regarding the former BBB’s health status. In his social networks, this Saturday afternoon (2), he said that his brother continues to progress.

“Rodrigo remains stable, progressing in recovery. Still sedated, and the extubation process is really slow and the next few hours are delicate. We are optimistic with great faith that he will recover”, posted the lawyer.

Earlier, to columnist Leo Dias from Metrópoles, Diogo confirmed that Rodrigo has some spinal injuries. However, no surgical intervention will be necessary.

In the morning since Saturday, CET (Companhia de Engenharia de Tráfego) released a new image of how the application car was in which Mussi was on the day of the accident at Marginal Pinheiros.

In the image, from another angle, it is possible to see the great damage that the crash in a truck caused. With the impact, Mussi was thrown forward, as he was not wearing a seat belt. He had watched the game between São Paulo and Palmeiras at the Morumbi stadium hours before and was heading to Consolação.

Mussi remains hospitalized in the ICU (Intensive Care Unit) of Hospital das Clínicas, in São Paulo. According to his brother, the two surgeries he underwent were successful. “We will continue in this positive current”, said Diogo Mussi, on the morning of this Friday (1st) on his social networks.

Rodrigo, who was the second eliminated from Big Brother Brasil 22 (Globo), had a car accident in the early hours of Thursday (30), at Marginal Pinheiros, in São Paulo. He was in an app car that hit the back of a truck.

According to his advice, Mussi suffered head trauma, in addition to other fractures throughout his body. On Thursday night, the family stated, through the ex-BBB’s social networks, that he underwent surgery on his head and on one of his legs. He was sedated and was supposed to be under observation for the next 48 hours.

It took his family many hours to discover that he had been in an accident. In an interview with reporters in front of the Hospital das Clínicas and which was shown on the program A Tarde É Sua (RedeTV!), his brother, Diogo, gave more details on how he found out about what had happened.

“He arrived [ao hospital] undocumented as an unknown. When we knew in the early evening [de quinta, 31] he had arrived since 4 am”, said Diogo.
