The legendary Heavy Metal band opens its European tour entitled “Run For Your Lives” with the first stop at the OAKA on May 23.

On their official website, Iron Maiden wrote:

“The initial European dates are the following and more festival concerts will be announced by the festivals themselves alongside Ironmaiden.com. It’s a busy year, so after that there will be no Maiden concerts in 2027.

THE Steve thanks (Steve Harris) He says: “We all love this tour Run For Your Lives. The fans were amazing, the set list is perfect for the 50th anniversary, the concert is undoubtedly the best we have ever done and the demand for tickets was incredible, with almost all concerts being sold out and over a million fans watching them. So, we all thought that we had to do some more concerts in Europe before we started for other parts of the world later in the year.

Of course, the Simon Doson (Simon Dawson) will again be with us in the drums, and both he and the whole band would like to thank our fans for the wonderful reception they had in the first part of the tour.

We have always liked to play at festivals, especially because we play for a world that is not only there for us, and we like this challenge! So we decided to visit as many big metal festivals as possible at this time. In addition, we will play in stages in Greece, Romania, Slovakia and Bulgaria, where we failed to go this year and always liked to play for passionate fans there.

The manager Rod Smallwood He comments: “We were impressed by the extremely positive reaction of our fans and mainstream media in the first part of our tour Run For Your Lives. We knew that we had created a special show, but the energy of all our fans at every concert we gave was perceived by the band and I think we all experienced something really unforgettable, and undoubtedly our best tour to date. Throughout our career, the festivals played a huge role, of course, starting with the Rock in Rio in 1985, as they gave us the opportunity to play in front of new fans and, we hope, to turn them into Maiden fans, which in the absence of a radio or mainstream. Thus, this tour, based on most of Europe’s prominent metal festivals, is also a huge thank you to these festivals that have played such an important role in fifty years … and continue … of the history of Iron Maiden. “
