An interactive web application with the theme of ancient theateraddressed to student audiencedesigned by Ephorate of Antiquities (EFA) of Piraeus and Islandsin the framework of NSRF Act “From the Museum to the Theater”.
THE presentation its will take place on 7/4/2022, at the Archaeological Museum of Piraeusin the context of an event in which the Keratsini-Drapetsona Art School. Students will have the opportunity to play the game and discuss with its designers, director and interactive creator, archaeologists and actors. After the presentation, the game will be uploaded on an online platform and will be available to the public at www.theatro-paignio.gr.

Through this online application, high school and high school students they approach the world of theater in a pleasant and playful way watching the organization of the Great Dionysians in the city of Athens and the efforts of a emerging poet to teach his troupe. All the characters in the game are fantastic, but they move in a real world. The tetralogy composed by the poet, drawing his theme from the mythological cycle of the Amazon War, is also fantastic. The main character is the Amazonian Antiope, wife of King Theseus.
The student-players participate in the organization of the Great Dionysians choosing the sponsor and the other members of the troupe and influencing with their choices the theatrical act and the teaching of the tragedy “Antiope”. They follow the heroes in the rehearsal space, in the city market, in the houses of the sponsors and in the workshops of the potters who prepare the utensils of the show. In total, more than 30 roles are representative in the plot of the application. The production was supported by a group of young actors who enlivened the scenes with their voices.
