The first acquaintance with the country starts from the international airport of Ulaanbaatar and continues in the central square of Sukhbaatar, with the imposing statue of the national hero who led Mongolia to independence. There are historical buildings such as the Parliament, the Opera House and the Palace of Culture.

The tour continues to the impressive Gadan Monastery, the country’s most important Buddhist monastery, where more than 500 monks keep Mongolia’s spiritual tradition alive. This is followed by a stop at the country’s largest open-air market, an authentic life experience full of colors, aromas and flavors, before climbing Zaisan Hill, with its magnificent view of the city and the monument to Mongolian and Soviet soldiers.

The episode concludes with culinary experiences and traditional Mongolian flavors, while the exciting adventure in the world’s most sparsely populated country with its rich history and culture continues in the next episode.
