Keith Urban violently attacks his ex-wife, Nicole Kidmanas the $325 million divorce dispute erupts. The artist implies that he wanted “to escape from a routine that was sucking his soul”.
Keith Urban’s new show, which premiered on CBS, follows 12 up-and-coming musicians who compete to be the “support act” on his tour. In a clip from the show, the 57-year-old musician entertained the contestants with his song ‘Straight Line’ from his latest album, ‘High’. The choice of song was interesting, given that he had previously revealed on Instagram that his music has a personal meaning.
“In this album I will cover many themes, emotions and atmospheres”, he said himself. “‘Straight Line’ expresses the desire to escape from a soul-sucking routine that you may be stuck in. Maybe in a relationship, a job, with creativity, with yourself… whatever. It’s a message about feeling alive again and getting out of that dark cloud.”the artist explained.

According to several international media, Keith Urban appeared to be sending his own messages to his ex-wife. Elsewhere on the show, which was filmed weeks before his split from Kidman was announced, Urban talked about the sacrifices the tour requires.
“When you wake up on a tour bus at 3:30 in the morning and you’re sick as a dog, you’re in the middle of nowhere and you have to play your fifth gig later that night.”he said meaningfully. And he added: “And you haven’t slept, you miss your friends, you miss your family, you feel completely alone, unhappy and sick, and you say to yourself: “Why am I doing this?” The only answer can be: Because this is my destiny.”
