Former BBB Rodrigo Mussi, 36, had his best day this Tuesday (12) since he entered the Clínicas hospital, in São Paulo, after suffering a serious car accident at Marginal Pinheiros. According to his brother Diogo, he has been communicating with facial expressions and continues to evolve.
“Rodrigo is at the most lucid moment, he communicated a lot with his hands and facial expressions. The extubation should happen around the weekend or early next,” he said in a video on social media (watch below).
According to the lawyer, a spine surgery is ruled out, and Mussi will only have a cervical collar. “There’s nothing in the marrow. If she [cirurgia] will happen in the future and in terms of strengthening the spine”, stated Diogo.
According to him, the moment he arrived in the room his brother wanted to say something, but he couldn’t understand it clearly. Therefore, the family is optimistic in the full recovery. “The doctor arrived and he waved goodbye, [isso] make people relieved. It’s waking up, eyes wide open, we ask you to continue with prayers,” she concluded.
The Civil Police stated that it opened an investigation to investigate the accident, and the driver, who gave a statement, could answer for culpable bodily injury while driving a motor vehicle. In an interview with Bom Dia SP (Globo), on the day of the accident, the driver even said that he had fallen asleep at the wheel.
