Lore Improta says she took a samba class and reports Léo Santana’s ‘super strength’

The dancer and currently technician of Dança dos Famosos do Domingão with Huck (Globo) Lore Improta, 28, went through Camarote No. 1 this Friday (22) of Carnival, before parading through Viradouro, where she will be one of the highlights. “I’m going to the hotel in a little while to change to come back,” she tells the F5.

To parade, she had to give up some things. “Liz is with Léo”, she says of her six-month-old daughter and her husband, singer Léo Santana, 34.

“Today is his birthday, even, and he has a show”, he laments. “Can’t be here with me, but he’s texting me. Giving me super strength.”

The Carnival date change ended up working for her, who would not have been able to parade if the official calendar had been maintained. “I thought I wouldn’t be able to parade because the dates changed”, she recalls. “I’m very anxious, this Carnival I’m more emotional.”

“I’ve already set foot in Rio today feeling emotional”, she guarantees. “This Carnival has a special taste, bringing hope back, that things will return to normal and that the pandemic is ending.”

In fact, this has everything to do with the plot of Viradouro, which is the fifth school to pass through Sapucaí on this first day of the Special Group, and with her participation in the school. “My costume represents victory in war,” she says. “We’re talking about the Carnival of 1919, which came after a great war.”

“I’ve been bringing a lot of light, which served not only for that time, but for what we live today, of getting out of a pandemic in which everyone was at home, sad, without being able to work”, he evaluates. “So I’m very happy, for me this fantasy has a great weight.”

To prepare, she took samba classes, even though she was a professional in the area. “I know how to dance, but the samba of the samba school is totally different”, she assures her. “I ask the dancers at the school for help, they send me videos.”

She says that her student in the current Dança dos Famosos, the sambista Xande de Pilares, has also given her strength. “He helps me with the good energy he has,” she says. “He’s super cool, super dedicated, wanting to learn.”
