Former BBB Arthur Picoli, 27, reaffirmed on Friday night (22) his support for the candidacy of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) for the presidency. He was in the box at the Brahma bar at the Anhembi Sambadrome, from where he watched the first night of parades of the São Paulo Carnival Special Group.
“I respect the opinion of others, 90% of my friends are Bolsonaristas, I have family members [bolsonaristas]. I do not agree? No, but it’s their opinion, just as they respect my opinion of voting 13 this year,” he said, who had already spoken about his political preference on BBB 21 (Globo).
Picoli pointed out that when the PT was in power, a lot of things improved for his family and friends who are still teachers in the public school system. “I have friends who graduated from Fies and through ProUni, I was one of those who got a scholarship.”
The former BBB stated that he could not support President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) because he removed physical education from early childhood education in public schools. “There was no way I could shoot myself in the foot, support now and even less after all the clowning,” said he, who was a physical education teacher before the reality show.
Picoli also said that he received a PT shirt at home and will wear it on election day. “I’m going to vote with Lula’s shirt, quietly on mine, I hope everyone respects my opinion because I respect what you decide to press there. But I advise you to press 13.”
