BBB 22: Tadeu Schmidt says he ‘didn’t want to be hated’ in his reality debut

The presenter of Big Brother Brasil 22 (Globo), Tadeu Schmidt, 47, was on the program Encontro com Fátima Bernardes this Friday morning (29) and commented on his trajectory in the presentation of the reality show.

The journalist said that he was afraid at the beginning of the program, and he was afraid of the challenge. “I was really scared, because we came from two presenters who are the greatest in the history of television. I wanted to do well, I didn’t want to get too much criticism and I didn’t want to be hated,” he said.

However, Schmidt says he is satisfied with his performance on the show. “I’ve never received as much affection as I am receiving now,” he said. The journalist took over BBB 22 after Tiago Leifert left the command of the program, and was replaced by Maju Coutinho in charge of Fantastic.

In his BBB debut, Schmidt won over celebrities with his emotional speeches and charismatic manner. “My friend, you are shining a lot”, said presenter Marcos Mion, on the final day of BBB 22. “What good energy you are bringing to us”.

A colleague of the journalist at Globo, presenter Fátima Bernardes said that she always liked to see Schmidt in action and said that he is fun, intelligent, polite and well-informed. “It couldn’t go wrong,” she concluded.
