Cancellation of Zé Neto and Cristiano’s show angers fans; police escort bus

The cancellation of a concert by the duo Zé Neto and Cristiano on the night of this Thursday (28) made it go down to the police at the place of the presentation. That’s because the audience was already inside the Espaço de Eventos in the city of João Monlevade (MG) and was disgusted by just knowing that there would be nothing more three hours after the start of the presentation.

The Military Police escorted the pair’s bus so that they could get out of there safely. In a note, the PM says that “it carried out the escort of the bus of the team of the duo in a preventive character, in case there was any complication due to the cancellation of the show”.

The absence of the musicians was due to the fact that Zé Neto went to the hospital because of a strong sinusitis that left his face swollen. However, the statement was only posted on their official page at 11 pm. The event, which had opening shows, started at 8pm.

In the note, the sertanejo said he was diagnosed with sinusitis, which caused an acute inflammation in his face. The singer was treated and performed the procedure at the Hospital de Base de São José do Rio Preto. According to an excerpt from the statement, the artist would already be released to continue with the concert schedule. There was still no new date for the presentation at Espaço de Eventos by João Monlevade.

This Friday morning (29), Zé Neto made videos on his social network to thank him for his love and concern. He took the opportunity to give more details on how his health is after the incident the night before.

“Good morning, my people. Today I woke up much better, thank God, too [olha só] a stick of medicine here. Thank you in advance to all the people of João Monlevade, for the affection, for the understanding. We’ll be there soon,” he said.
