Rodrigo Mussi case: Police cite recklessness and do not indict driver

by

Application driver Kaique Reis, who was carrying former BBB Rodrigo Mussi, 37, as a passenger at the time his car hit the back of a truck at the end of March at Marginal Pinheiros, was not indicted, as culpable bodily injury is considered a crime of lesser potential.

According to information from TV Globo, the investigation has already been completed by the Civil Police of São Paulo. In it, it says that Kaique was reckless and worked too much on that March 31st.

According to delegate Júlio César dos Santos Geraldo, for several days the driver worked more than he should and there was no inspection by the company for which the professional worked.

The investigation had been opened in April by the Civil Police. At the time, Kaique was heard. In an interview with Bom Dia SP (Globo), on the day of the accident, the driver even said that he had slept at the wheel.

The case will now go to the Public Ministry, which will be able to analyze the information and even change the sentence.

After 28 days of the accident, Mussi was discharged from Hospital das Clínicas. According to an official statement from the press office and his own brother, Diogo Mussi, now he will continue his rehabilitation outside of there.

This Tuesday (3), the brother said that Rodrigo outdid himself in physiotherapy and did more than he was asked to do. He also does speech and occupational therapy and continues to evolve.
