THE Greek Book Association organizes tomorrow, Saturday, May 7, as part of the Day Book, the established Book Walk, which from this year extends beyond Athens to cities throughout Greece. THE Athenian Walk passes through bookstores, publishing houses and libraries, both in the center and in the region of Attica (total 39 points of the city) until the evening hours.
Meanwhile, today, Friday, May 6, the 25th Book Bazaar 2022 starts in Klafthmonos Square, at prices not exceeding 30% of their original retail price. The Book Bazaar will be accompanied by a series of events that will give a festive character to the city. There will also be parallel events commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Asia Minor Catastrophe, which will also serve as a harbinger of the big events being prepared for the upcoming Book Festival in September at the Zappeion.
The 25th Book Bazaar 2022 is organized by the Association of Book Publishers (SEKB) and the Panhellenic Federation of Booksellers (POEB) under the auspices of the Municipality of Athens and with the support of the Organization of Culture, Sports and Youth of the Municipality of Athens (OPANDA). The Bazaar will continue until Sunday, May 29.
