Surfer Pedro Scooby, 33, commented on his career and life after BBB 22 (Globo) on the program Encontro com Fátima Bernardes, on the morning of this Wednesday (11). The athlete stated that he was surprised by the fame and stated that he intends to continue his surfing career.
“I will for sure [seguir a carreira]. Until August I start doing my physical preparation, because October starts the season again”, he said. Scooby said he learned to surf at age 5, with his father, and now sees in the profession the realization of a dream, and always seeks to help people with everything they get.
“I, who am privileged to live a dream as a surfer, earn so much, clothes and board. The least I can do is share it with people”, he added. He also recalled an accident he had in 2019, and said that feeling fear is part of the profession, but it does not paralyze you. “Fear makes me alive.”
The athlete commented on his career as a model, and stated: “It’s not the place I feel most comfortable, I prefer to catch a wave”. However, he says he is rooting for Paulo André, his great friend inside and outside the BBB’s house, to be very successful in his career. “He’s going to kick ass. He’s the most handsome guy I’ve ever seen in person.”
Scooby went on to say that after the end of the edition, he still has contact with PA and that they always call to talk and especially exchange advice. “We created a younger brother and older brother relationship,” he added.
